Anna M. Beegle

Anna M. Beegle, 83, of East Pitt Street, Bedford, died Friday, September 18, 2015 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. She was born on July 10, 1932, in Waterside, a daughter of the late George B. and Myra “Camilla” (Croft) McKinney. In Cumberland, MD, she married Ralph P. Beegle and he preceded her in death on March 28, 1994.  She is survived by  three sons: Lloyd Beegle and wife Robin of Loysburg, Kevin Beegle and wife Sally of Bedford, Tim Beegle and wife Doris of Hedgesville, WV two daughters; Brenda Peters and husband Michael of Herminie, Paula Alcott and husband Samuel of West Newton; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Snyder of Bedford.  She was preceded in death by two brothers:  Guy Croft and George McKinney.

Anna was a graduate of Replogle High School.  She was a former member of the Colonial Hills Baptist Church and worked at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home for 25 years as a Nurses Aid, and prior to that she had worked at Everett Shoe Factory. She was a member of the Bedford American Legion Ladies Auxillay.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev. Carnith and Krystal Boring officiating.  Friends will be received from 5:00 until the start of the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.   In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorial contributions to Bedford Area Ambulance, P.O.
