Ann M. Burkhart 81 of Mountain Valley Apartments, Bedford, died Friday October 19, 2001 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. She was born on September 30, 1920 in Pansy, Pa. a daughter of the late Charles A. and Pearl M. (Eshbaugh) Ferguson. On February 5, 1972 She married Densel G. Burkhart who preceded her in death on March 16, 1999. She is survived by the following family: 2 grandsons, 1 brother Arthur of Illinois, 1 sister Jesse Decker of Clymer, Pa. She was preceded in death by 1 son Charles Ferguson husband of Barbara of Schellsburg, and 1 brother Floyd.
She was of the Protestant faith, worked as a homemaker and a house keeper for Dr. S. Meiggs Beyer of Punxsutawney, Pa., she also worked as a waitress for the Punxsutawney Country Club.
Funeral Services Tuesday October 23, 2001 at 11:00 AM from the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with the Rev. William E. Fenstermaker officiating. Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
