Alice E. Miller 82 of Dibert Road, Bedford, died Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at the Altoona Regional Hospital. She was born May 28, 1926 in Jerome, daughter of the late George and Viola ( Beistel) Fleegle. She is survived by eight children: Betty wife of Calvin Word of Riverton, Utah, Sandy Miller of Shippensburg, Bonnie wife of Galen Hershberger, Dottie wife of John Mickey, Linda Miller, Harry Miller married to the former Regena Garland all of Bedford, Patti Miller of York, Tracie Miller of Bedford, four grandchildren: Terry, Todd, Steve and Becky, three great grandchildren: Parker, Palmer and Payton, a sister Dorothy Levchik of Bedford, two brothers: James Fleegle of Cairnbrook, and Charles Fleegle and wife Pearl of York. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Earl, Melvin and George Fleegle.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009. at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev. Doug Friant officiating.
