Aida M. Harrison

Aida M. Harrison, 87, of W. Pitt St., Bedford, died Friday, March 19, 2010, at her home. She was born February 6, 1923 in Girardville, daughter of the late James and Jenny (DeMarco) Fungaroli. On June 30, 1946 in Las Vegas, she married Verne E. Harrison and he preceded her in death on March 12, 1986. She is survived by three daughters:, Donna L. wife of Herbert Whitworth of New Paris, Diane M. Chappell of Bedford and Connie C. wife of William J. Roll of Chambersburg, five grandchildren: Theresa Chappell Barfield, Jessica M. Chappell, Mary Claire Roll, Diana A. Miller and James K. Whitworth. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Michael, James and Charles Fungaroli and two sisters; Jeanette Kiss and Pandora Mahalsky.
Mrs. Harrison was of the Catholic faith. She had worked as a driver and guide for the Blind Assoc. She was a member of the Bedford County Garden Club, and enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make contributions to the Home Nursing Agency, P.O.
