Adaline I. Craig

Adaline Irene Craig, 74, of Breezewood, died Saturday, November 8, 2014. She was born on April 3, 1940, in Kerney, a daughter of the late Chester and Irene (Lockard) Hughes. She is survived by a daughter, Vickie wife of Tim Easter of Bedford, three granddaughters: Katelyn, Amber, and Melissa Easter; four sisters: Charlotte Nause, of Bedford, Pauline O’Conner, of Essex Jct, VT, Mary Ann Walker, of New Baltimore, and Darlene; two brothers: Gary Hughes, Assenot, MA, and Tony Lockard, of Sarasota, FL.  She was preceded in death by three brothers: John, Charles, and Sherdie Dale Hughes; and a sister, Peggy.

Adaline worked as a cook for various restaurants in the area.  She enjoyed going to flea markets, and cherished her relationship with her family, friends, and her dogs, treating them like her family.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Bruce Maxwell, officiating.  Burial will be held private.  Friends will be received on Wednesday, from 9:00 a.m., until the hour of the service, at the funeral home.
