Troy R. Mickel

Troy R. Mickel 42, of Bedford, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.  He was born on April 29, 1976 in Windber, a son of Eldon and Kerri (May) Mickel.  In addition to his parents he is survived by fiancée Joy Hann of Bedford, a brother Tauris Mickel, of Cream Ridge, NJ, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Troy enjoyed woodworking, playing cards, and attending all kinds of racing.  He was a member of the Pleasantville VFW Post #9129, and past member of the Shawnee Valley Vol. Fire Company.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Brian Swaim officiating.  Friends will be received on Sunday from 1:00 until service.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com
