Troy R. Lankey

Troy R. Lankey 38, of Bedford, passed away on August 10, 2018.  He was born on March 6, 1980 in Bedford, a son of Robert E. and Judith A. ‘Judy’ (Keller) Lankey of Bedford.  In addition to his parents he is survived by his fiancée Angie Minner, of Bedford; two children, Tyson and Theo at home; a brother, Travis Lankey and wife Jess, of Bedford; two nephews, Owen and Dashea, a niece Alyvia; cousins: Megan Keller, Mike and wife Jamie, Hunter, Brooke, Chaz, Tami and husband Eric Dickson, Michael, Jordan, Issac, and Bradley; four uncles: Thomas Lankey and wife Marie, Gary Lankey and wife Theresa, Mark Lankey widower of Barb, and Edward Keller and wife Ellen; and maternal grandmother, Dorothy Keller.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George Keller; and paternal grandparents, Charles and Louella Lankey.

Troy was a 1998 graduate of Bedford High School, and played on the football team wearing the number 63.  He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter, and enjoyed watching Steelers Football.  His best friends were his three Labrador Retrievers, Bell, Lizzie, and Lilly, who joined him every day at work.  Troy would do anything for anyone; he loved to live his life, and most importantly loved his parents, children, fiancée, and family above all.   

Funeral services will be held Private.  Family and friends will be received on Monday August 13, 2018, from 6-8 p.m., at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to: Angie Minner, 1393 Business 220, Bedford, PA 15522, to establish a trust for his children.
