We just learned of Ruth's passing and are so sorry. We moved into Dr. Wiley's house across the street from Ruth and Dennis. They were a blessing from the start! Dennis hung out with Scott in our barn and a close relationship grew. Dennis would run over and tell me about his day after getting off the bus and I loved every minute of it! We would take him to our church gym night and also loved taking him to our favorite Chinese buffet. We missed them so much when we moved to NC. We loved them both......

So sorry to read of your mom's passing. She always had a smile! She was a kind and gentle lady, I remember she was working at the Hospital when my mom died and she came to give hugs, so thoughtful and it meant a lot to me. Sorry I did not make it to the viewing I was away for 3 weeks and did not get the paper. Praying for all of you. With warm regards and many fond memories!

Dennis, Dan, David and family, with a much saddened heart we express our deepest sympathy in the passing of Ruth. Memory of the day you moved in across from us (not sure of who threw the 1st rock, lol) but definitely of the lady jerking us all down behind the barn, hunting rocks, lining us up across from each other, then telling us to throw a rock at each other. We all looked at her as if she were crazy, BUT made us friends. Regretfully we could not attend but you all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Regrets on not being there at the viewing or funeral, was not aware of the arrangements. So sorry for your loss, a loss we all will experience with her passing. Being neighbors for awhile has a lot of memories of her. She will be missed dearly. The family is in our prayers in your time of sorrow.

Wow this breaks my heart. I have had the pleasure of working with Dennis for many years. In doing so I was blessed to get to know this absolutely lovely lady. Ruth was totally devoted to her family and so so proud of all of her children. She was an awesome advocate for her son and spoke her mind when that needed to be done. I have been away from the workforce for several years now but ran into Ruth and Dennis at Giant Eagle just a month or so ago. I was greeted with giant hugs from both of them and reminded lovingly of how I am missed. I thanked God for those few minutes when I heard about her passing. Rest in peace Ruth you will be missed.

Thank you for the nice recollection. Where she was Dennis wasn't too far away. The two were inseparable. . Seemed like Dennis would recognize someone and get the conversation started. Not too many people get past Dennis without a word and a big howdy from both:)
