Rodney “Pete” E. Moser, 70, of Osterburg, died on June 30, 2018, at UPMC Altoona Hospital. He was born on September 24, 1947, in Bedford, a son of the late Gordon W. and Helen W. (Bodes) Moser. He is survived by two daughters: Shonna Estep and husband Shane, of Odessa, TX, and Yvette Moser, of York, five grandchildren: Madison and Mitchell Estep, Aaron, Jordan, and Nathan Callis; one brother, Arden E. Moser, of Alexandria, VA; two sisters: Rebecca Toth and husband Timothy, of Schellsburg, Elizabeth Speicher and husband Joseph, of Manns Choice; two aunts: Aretta Mae "Sally" Moser, of Sterling, VA, and Gladys DeMuth, of Lutherville-Timonium, MD; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Brenda Krouse, his 2nd, wife Margaret Moser, and a Fiancée, Sharon Crabtree; two sisters, Argel Jean Moser, and Frances E. Defibaugh widow Lee who survives of Centerville.
Rodney worked as a machinist for Kennametal and then owned an automotive body shop for many years. He was a member of the local corvette club and an avid motorcycle rider. He enjoyed deer and turkey hunting.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Raymond E. Short and Pastor David Weinhold officiating. Burial at Bedford Cemetery. Friends will be received on Thursday, from 6 – 9 p.m. at the funeral home and, 1 hour prior to the service on Friday.
