Norman “Jack “ Foor, 79, of Jacksonville, FL, died on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at his residence in Jacksonville, FL. He was born on May 20, 1939, in Bedford, a son of the late Ellis J. and Helen M.(Smith) Foor. On June 19, 2001in Jacksonville, FL, he married Yvex (Lolinco) Foor who survives along with two daughters, Tammy Lenore Foor, of CA, Annette Diane Bowman and husband Steve, of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren four sisters, Debbie Mardis, and husband Marty, of St. Clairsville, Barbara Oyler and husband Gary, of Bedford, Peggy Hillegas, of Stoystown, and Vickie Stigers widow of Russ, of Bedford was preceded in death by one son Bobby Dean Foor, four brothers: Buddy, Duck, Daryl, and Miles Foor,
Jack served in the U.S. Navy and retired after 40 years from driving truck in 2000. He enjoyed working on his truck and cars, and was a huge Steelers fan and enjoyed John Deere tractors. loved and adored his animals. He had four cats named blazer boy, striped cat, ugly cat and fuzzy grey cat and one dog named wrinkles. He currently has one dog surviving named snow white.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford with his niece Marty Marie Brown officiating, Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park, with full military rites conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
