Nancy L. Critchfield 72, of Bedford, died Friday, July 19, 2019 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. She was born on October 7, 1946 in New Enterprise, a daughter of the late Walter and Evelyn (Gaudig) Croyle. On August 5, 1967 she married Joe W. Critchfield who preceded her in death on June 19, 2017. She is survived by a daughter, Tracey Baumgardner and husband Mark, of Fishertown; two grandchildren: Cody and Erin Blackburn; a brother, Joseph Croyle, and wife Wanda, of Everett; two sisters: Joann Trimpey and companion Lynn Pittman, of Everett, and Cindy Doris, and husband Raymond, of Hollywood Hills, FL; and a brother-in-law, James Critchfield, and companion Mary Jane Ward, of Breezewood.
Nancy was a 1964 graduate of Bedford High School, and drove school bus for 40 years in the Bedford School District. She was a member of the Bedford Springs Chapter #41 Order of the Eastern Star. Nancy enjoyed watching all the wildlife who visited her home daily, and most of all her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Layminister Jim Miller officiating.
