Milford H. "Rick" Miller

Milford H. “Rick” Miller 76 of Bedford, died Sunday July 29, 2018 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home.  He was born on September 4, 1941 in Williamsport, a son of the late Milford W. “Sonny” and Ada (Briam) Miller.  On December 29, 1995 in Bedford he married Linda (Sonni) Bush Miller who survives along with the following family: daughter Vicki Miller, of Long Island, NY, daughter Sara Battaglia, of Port Matilda, son Scott Miller and wife Becky of Hollidaysburg; step-son Todd Bush and wife Anne, of Durham, NC, step-son Adam Bush and wife Malinda Miller of Pittsburgh, and a step-daughter Melissa Gujrati and husband Sanjay, of Greensboro, NC; eight grandchildren: Anthony, and Alexandra Battaglia, Paige and Ava Miller, Aidan and Mia Gujart, Silas and Emmett Bush; a brother Rodney Miller and wife Lorelei, of Middleburg, and a sister Rosemary Wilhem and husband Rick, of Richmond, VA.  He was preceded in death by a brother Edward Miller.Rick retired after 40 years from the Spring Cove School District, and was a member of the PIAA Official Association for over 40 years.  During his career he worked in various capacities including: teacher, administrator, guidance counselor, and coach, retiring from Spring Cove.  Rick enjoyed music, dancing, playing cards, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 6:00 p.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford. Friends will be received on Saturday from 4:00 p.m., until the hour of the service.
