Lois A. Law, 86 of Bedford, passed away on July, 8, 2017 at Arbutus Park Retirement Home, Johnstown. She was born on June 6, 1931, in Johnstown, a daughter of the late Thelma G. and Harry M. Anderson. She was a graduate of Ebensburg Cambria High School and Catonsville Community College in Maryland. Lois was licensed Maryland Realtor for 10 years, and was also employed by the Maryland State police in the FBI Criminal Records Department. Private Computer Tutoring occupied many of her retirement years in addition to being a volunteer Driver of the Disabled Veterans Van, transporting Veterans from Johnstown or Bedford to Altoona VA Hospital for treatment. She was a member of the Bedford United Methodist Church. On September 23, 1949, she was united in marriage to Clayton E. Law in Ebensburg, who passed away on March 5, 1983. She is survived by two sons: Clayton E. Law Jr. husband of Anne (Oden) Law and Kenneth M. Law husband of Heather (Humphries) Law, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a brother Donald P. Anderson, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers: Kenneth L., Glenn K., and father Harry M. and mother Thelma G. Anderson. At Lois’s request she had registered as an Anatomical Gift Donor with hopes it may benefit others. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., at the St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church, 600 Walker Road, Wayne, PA 19087. Arrangements by the Timothy A.
