Keith C. Veach, 81, of Everett lost his two year battle with pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Homewood at Martinsburg. He was born on March 28, 1938, in Bedford, a son of the late Donald and Arvada (Crawford) Veach. On January 30, 1960, in Bedford, he married Mary L. (Hixon) Veach who survives along with the following family: a daughter, Lori Wallace and husband Wayne of Scottsdale, AZ; two sons, Brian Veach and wife Patricia of Roseville, MN; Kevin Veach and wife Dallison of Fairfax Station, VA; five grandchildren: Jenni Veach of Houston TX, Paul Veach of Chicago, Il, Quinton, Kendall, and Kiera Veach all of Fairfax Station, VA; one brother Arley Veach and wife Louise of East Berlin; one sister Audrey Stull and husband Dave of Chambersburg. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter Lisa, two brothers Terrance and Loren Veach, and one sister Kay Fritzgerald.
Keith graduated from Penn State in 1960 with a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education. He retired after 33 years as a teacher in industrial arts, science, agriculture, and horticulture for the Blairsville/Saltsburg School District, where he was also the faculty advisor for the FFA. He was a member of the PSEA, NEA, and enjoyed dancing and traveling with his wife.
