Keith P. Bagley, 63, of Bedford, died Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at his residence. He was born on July 3, 1955, in Cumberland, MD, a son of the late Charles B. and Naomi Ruth (Zembower) Bagley. He is survived by former wife Cindy Bagley; two sisters: Karen R. Moore and husband Robert, of Chambersburg, and Patricia L. O’Buchon, widow of Gary, of Norton, MA; two brothers: Mark C. Bagley and wife Maryellen, of Oakton, VA, and Christopher W. Bagley and wife Robyn, of Grantsville, MD; two nephews: Daniel and Brendan Bagley; two nieces: Marita and Cheyenne Bagley; five great-nieces and -nephews; and special friend, Karon Mock, of Schellsburg. He was preceded in death by a niece, Lydia Bagley.
Keith was a 1973 graduate of Bedford High School, where he participated in football and track and field. At a very young age he began working in Bedford radio, and he has been News Director at Cessna Communications (WAYC) for many years. Keith was a member of the Bedford County Amateur Radio Society, and a past office holder in the Bedford Sportsmen’s Club. He also enjoyed fly fishing and remote-controlled helicopters.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Father Richard Tomkosky officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received on Monday, September 24, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
