Don't know why he came to my mind but John Kane was apart of my life for 5 years when I first met him selling a RAM IV 69 GTO. I bought the rare Poncho from him and he and his wife (Jackie) did the restoration. At the end of the restoration they moved to Pensilvania where they worked for Steve Ames (Ames Performance), restoring his black on black RA IV 70 GTO judge. Man I loved talking to John for he grew up restoring Duesenbergs, Ferraris, and other legends of car lore. His love for his craft was apparent in the work he did on my car. I don't think I had anything so beautiful in my life.
