Deanna "Dea" M. Hershberger, 70, of Bedford, died Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. She was born on August 30, 1946, in Lock Haven, a daughter of the late Donald Rader and Dorothy (Vathurst) Rader Condo. On December 26, 1967, in Cumberland, MD, she married Barry Hershberger who survives along with a grandson, Blain Hershberger; a daughter-in-law, Heidi Showalter and husband Donald; a mother- in- law, Madolyn Polly Hershberger, all of Bedford; and an aunt, Carol Redinger and husband Donald, of Lock Haven.  She was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Hershberger.

Dea enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Citizen’s Center in Bedford.  She loved to play bingo, enjoyed listening to blue grass music, and spending time with her family and friends. She loved helping people and was loved by many and will be sorely missed by all.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at 12:00 p.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford with Jim Miller officiating.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.  Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 10 - 12, at the funeral home.  Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
