David T. Foor, 85, of Centennial Road, Bedford, died on September 12, 2018, at UPMC Altoona Hospital. He was born on February 3, 1933, in Bedford, a son of the late Charles E. and Sarah (Manges) Foor. On August 9, 1958, in Cumberland, MD, he married Kathryn Imler, who survives along with the following family: three grandchildren: Duke Nave Jr. and wife Angelica, of Oxford; Kristianne Gid, and husband Daniel, of Bedford, Lauren Nave and partner Evan of Bedford; two great grandchildren: Hali Link and Duke Nave III; two brothers, Robert Foor and wife JoAnn, of Bedford, Roy Foor of Bedford; and one sister, Annie Deffibaugh, of Everett. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah (Foor) Nave; two brothers: Charles Foor Jr. and Harry Foor; two sisters: Isabelle Means and Betty Robinette; two half-brothers: Pete and Phil Foor.
David was a member of the Everett Grace Brethern Church. He worked at Standard Register for 28 years and retired form Cumberland Truck Parts. He enjoyed hunting, playing the lottery and his morning coffee with the gang.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., at the Everett Grace Brethren Church, with and Rev. Melvin VanOrman and Pastor Phillip Steele officiating. Burial at Woods Church Cemetery, with full military rites conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard. Friends will be received on Saturday, from 9 -11 a.m., at the Church.
