Christine J. ‘Chris’ Biser 68, of Sunnyside Road, Bedford, died Sunday August 27, 2017 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.  She was born on October 18, 1948 in Fukuoka, Japan a daughter of the late Dexter Easton and Charlotte (Wolfe) Diehl.  She is survived by a daughter, Mandy Sipple and husband David, of Mt. Union; two brothers: Eric Easton Sr., and wife Beverly, of Everett, and Jeffry Diehl, and wife Cathy, of Bedford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Chris received her Bachelor’s Degree after graduating from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1969.  She was then a long time employee of the Hedstrom Corporation, before becoming a caseworker for Children and Youth Services for Bedford County.  Chris was currently the Ombudsman for the Bedford, Huntingdon, Fulton, Area Agency on Aging.  She was known for her hard work, strong opinions, and honesty. Chris loved working in her yard, collecting antiques, and feeding the deer in her back yard.  She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., at the Trinity Lutheran Church, in Bedford, with Pastor David Weinhold officiating.  Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 5, from 5-7 p.m., at the Timothy A.
