Chris, I am thankful that I got to know you, and work alongside you. Your humor, wit, and straight forwardness is something I will always admire. You were such a "strong" advocate for those you worked alongside in the human service field, and it will be hard for someone to have the impact that you have had. My Dearest Chris, I miss you more than words can ever express! Your spunk and no nonsense personality was not only endearing but inspiring. Your daily antics at work are truly missed more than you will ever know. I love you so very much as does your other co-workers/friends. I am so very sorry for your loss. Chris & I became fast friends through Charlotte when she moved back to Bedford. We spent many good times decorating her house, she dragging me to Antique shops and sales, watching old movies and taking walks around town and window shopping in Altoona. ( I still remember all of her lessons & opinions when I watch Antiques Roadshow on TV)
We were good friends at a time when we each needed a good friend.
Since I moved to CA. we have only had our yearly letters, but I think of her often & miss her presence.

As an activities director at PKV I had many occasions to work with Chris. She was a staunch advocate for our residents and was very dedicated to ensuring that their needs were being met. I had a full on respect for this woman and her convictions. I was blessed to know her. Rest in peace Chris. I know God has a new Angel. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
