Carol A. Corbett 72, of Everett formerly of Somerset, died Sunday, February 25, 2018 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. She was born on August 11, 1945 in Shanksville, a daughter of the late George T. and Mary L. (Brant) Barkman. On June 22, 1963 in Kanter she married Fred Corbett who survives along with a son, Hugh William Corbett and wife Kathy, of Somerset; two grandchildren: Alishia Wilders and husband Neil, Timothy Page and wife Destiny; six great-grandchildren: Addison, Brayden, and Makenzie Wilders, Emily, Evan and Eli Page; two brothers: Gene Barkman, of Somerset, and Hubert Barkman, of Friedens; and a sister Ilene Kelly and husband Fred, of Friedens.

Carol was a 1963 graduate of Shanksville-Stoneycreek High School. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Somerset Chapter #138, and enjoyed crafting and puzzles. Carol and Fred currently resided at Homewood at Spring House Estates in Everett.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.
