Anna Belle (Plummer) Way

Anna Belle Way, 86, of Bedford died on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. She was born on July 18, 1932, in Imler, a daughter of the late Harry J. and Bessie (Feather) Plummer. On October 22, 1957, in Winchester, VA, she married Glenn S. Way and he preceded her in death on September 8, 1985.  She is survived by four grandchildren: Brian Way of Bedford, Britney Clugston of Chambersburg, Samantha Van Pelt of Imlertown, Nickie Sue Van Pelt also of Imlertown; one great granddaughter Mahelia Rowe; two brothers, Harold Plummer and wife Sara Jane of Everett, and Lee Plummer and wife Jeannie of Bedford. She was preceded in death by a son, David Glenn Way, a daughter Karen Sue Van Pelt widower David who survives of Imlertown, two brothers:  Robert Dale and William Dean Plummer and one sister Lois Jean Plummer.

Anna Belle was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Bedford.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Brady Plummer officiating.  Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.   Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
