Patricia A. (Martin) Foor

Patricia A. Foor 85, of Bedford, died Saturday, April 20, 2024 at her home.  She was born on May 15, 1938 in Bedford, a daughter of the late Perry and Cora (Imler) Martin.  On July 30, 1959 in Winchester, VA she married Boyd F. Foor who preceded her in death on November 23, 2000. She is survived by four children: Dave Foor and wife Debbie, of Bedford, Lori Clingerman and husband Estol, of Bedford, Boyd “Frank” Foor Jr. and wife Lisa, of Everett, and Jeff Foor and fiancée Tamala, of Everett; ten grandchildren: Tricia Baer, Natasha Sparks, Joshua Foor, Brett Griffith, Jenna Foor, Dakota Foor, Jaden Foor, Dylan Foor, Seth Foor, and Delayne Frankenberry; eight great-grandchildren: Hannah, Olivia, Ella, Caleb, Lucas, Conner, Gannon, and Beckett; and two siblings: Charles Martin and wife Betty, of Jackson, MI, and Ethel Weyant, of Dover.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan Foor; and seven siblings: Earnest, John, Joseph, and Francis Martin, Mary Hershberger, Jeanie Power, and infant Dorothy.

Patricia was a waitress at the former Roll Arena, Bennett’s Restaurant, and worked in the commissary at Howard Johnsons.  She also worked for Clites Nursing Home, cleaned homes, and was a caretaker for her parents and in-laws, until their passing.  Pat was a hardworking dedicated mother.  She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s sporting events.  Pat was very strong in her faith and enjoyed reading her bible daily.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Bruce Maxwell officiating.  Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received on Wednesday, from 4-8 p.m., at the funeral home.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
