L. Donald Lough

L. Donald Lough 88, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Nancy’s Personal Care Home, surrounded by his family.  He was born on August 1, 1935 in Spring Gap, MD a son of the late George Arnold and Georgia Belle (Buckley) Lough.  On October 26, 1954 in Bedford, he married Ruby M. (Sellers) Lough who survives along with a daughter Deborah K. Winesickle and husband James, of Bedford; two grandsons: Jason Winesickle and wife Hilary, and Travis Winesickle and wife Kelly; four great-grandchildren: Ava, Carter, Amelia, and Emrick; and two sisters: Sharon Anulies and Sandra Miller, both of Hyndman.  He was preceded in death by two siblings: Linda Peterson and James Lough.

Don retired from Lane Metal after 41 years of employment.  He enjoyed hunting and planting his vegetable garden with his wife.  The family would like to thank Nancy, Stephanie, Heather, Carol, Judy, and Lori for their wonderful care at Nancy’s Personal Care, and Billie and nurse Jada from Family Hospice.

Funeral services will be private.  Arrangements by the Timothy A.
