My deepest sympathies go out to Gail and the family on the passing of Sonny. The few times I was able to meet him he seemed to be the most sincere Christian! I am thankful that he knew Jesus Christ as the one who died for his sin on the cross and rose again so that we would have the promise of life with Jesus in the future. He chose to repent of his sin and chose this wonderful Redeemer! What a comfort and blessing to know that He is with Jesus! May each of his friends and family find comfort in this and know this same Jesus who is precious to Sonny! My love and prayers to Gail particularly at this time as well as the family.

I met Sonny when I worked at the Kelly Store. He always impressed me with his deep faith and his on going witness to that faith. He lived his faith all the time, and that was impressive to me, and I have always remembered his example. At times I often find myself thinking "What would Sonny do in this situation?" I will always be grateful for having known him at that time. My prayers will remember his family and closest friends at this challenging time. God bess.
