Shirley L. Hann, 81, of, Bedford, died Friday, January 13, 2017 at her residence. She was born on April 5, 1935, in Bedford, a daughter of the late Hermon and Anne (Southerly) Wertz. On September 24, 1962, in Cumberland, MD, he married Cecil Hann, who survives along with the following family, two sons:  Barry Wertz, of Everett, and Rodney Hann,  of Bedford; a daughter, Joy Hann of Bedford; one grandchild, Corey Wertz;  two great grandchildren,  Deegan and Max Wertz;  and one sister, Dorothy  Price of Bedford. She was preceded in death by four brothers:  Jim, Tom, Harry, and Joe, three sisters: Nellie, Betty, and Mary.

Shirley worked for the Bedford Springs and the New Hoffman Hotel.  She cleaned for the Bedford United Methodist Church for 17 years, and a lot of families in the area.   She enjoyed playing cards.
