Richard A. Roarabaugh

Richard A. Roarabaugh 78, of Bedford died Thursday April 19, 2018 at his residence.  He was born on January 7, 1940 in Riddlesburg, a son of the late Cloyd and Esther (Cartwright) Roarabaugh. On March 30, 1968 in Bedford he married Kathleen (Smith) Roarabaugh who survives along with the following family: a daughter, Stacy Grimes of Schellsburg, a son Alan Roarabaugh, of Bedford, and a daughter, Tracy Heming and husband Morgan of Bedford; seven grandchildren: Travis Grimes, Ryan Mutchler, Matthew Roarabaugh, Addison Heming, Tristan Heming, Ian Burkhead, and Katie Burkhead; one great-grandson Kyle Grimes; and a sister, Sarah Lemin, of Everett.  He was preceded in death by two daughters: Sheila Burkhead, and Stephanie Roarabaugh; and four brothers: William, Clyde, Donald Paul, and Edward Roarabaugh.

Richard worked at Fairfoot Shoe Factory, and retired from Hedstrom after 25 years of employment.  He enjoyed reading, playing cards, listening to baseball games, and his dog Fifi.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at the Calvary Baptist Church, with Pastor Adam Kravets officiating.  Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
