Norma “June” McNelly, 89, formerly of Messiah Church Road, Bedford, and for many years since her husband’s death a resident of Dillsburg, died Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Claremont Nursing and Rehab Center, Carlisle, after an extended illness.  She was born June 29, 2028 in Bellwood, PA, a daughter of the late Norman and Margaret (Irwin) Clouser. On February 13, 1947, in Winchester, VA, she married Robert M McNelly who preceded her in death on December 3, 2004.  She is survived by siblings: Doris Fuseck of New Oxford, Norman Charles Clouser and wife, Carol of York, Elsie (Clouser) Hall of Brimfield, OH, Marvin Clouser and wife Doris of Bellwood, Carol (Clouser) Bennett of Dover, and Rhonda (Clouser) Harpster and husband Mike of Dillsburg. She was preceded in death by siblings: Glen Clouser, Paul Clouser, Marcella (Clouser) Ocker, Kenneth Clouser, and Janet (Clouser) McMaster. 

June attended Bellwood-Antis High School, and enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos. Although June and her husband Bob never had children of their own, they were both “parent-like” figures to many.  This world has lost a beautiful soul and Heaven has gained one.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. Donna Wolfinger officiating.  Burial at Messiah Lutheran Church Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Friday from 10:00 a.m., until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
