Madeline L. Zimmers, 83, of, Bedford, died on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Nancy's Personal Care Home, in Osterburg. She was born on July 23, 1932, in Bedford, a daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Clites) Mortimore. On August 2, 1950 she married Joe R. Zimmers and he preceded her in death on November 12, 2002. She is survived by a son, Robert Zimmers, widower of Barbara of Bedford; a daughter, Cathy Fetter and husband Randy of Bedford,  five grandchildren:  Dan, Jessica, Amy, Nick, and Lacey, 10 great grandchildren:  Armand, Shawnelle, Haylee, Oakley, Eli, Ava, Evan, Michael, Caleb, and Matthew; five brothers: Dick Mortimore, and wife Sylvia of Manns Choice, Harry Mortimore, and wife Mary of Bedford, John Mortimore, and wife Sandy of Bedford,  Jerry  Mortimore of Bedford, Tom Mortimore, and wife Linda of Bedford; three sisters, Joyce Comp, and husband Jim of Centerville, Donna Holler, and husband Frank of Buffalo Mills, Rita Colledge, and husband Randy of Bedford. She was preceded in death by a grandson: Jeb Zimmers and two brothers, Jim and Lawrence Mortimore. Madeline enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they met the world to her.

A graveside service will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by the Timothy A.
