Lillian “Marcella” Ritchey, 78, of Ott Town Road, Everett, died Saturday, October 8, 2016 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. She was born on January 7, 1938, in Bedford, a daughter of the late Edward and Lillian M. (Ford) Smith. On December 27, 1959, in Everett, she married Alonza D. “Bud” Ritchey and he preceded her in death last Friday, September 30, 2016.  She is survived by two sons: David Todd Ritchey and wife Carol, of Bedford, and Larry Troy Ritchey and wife Tonya, of Towanda.  She is also survived by two grandchildren:  Christie wife of Ryan Harris, and Adam Ritchey; three step grandchildren:  Sierra, Drayson, and Zachary; one great step-granddaughter, Nevaeh, and one brother, Terry Smith and wife Edna, of Everett.  She was preceded in death by an infant sister Lillie Rachel Smith, and one brother Theodore Smith.

Marcella and her husband were faithful members of the Bald Hill Lutheran Church and the Yeager Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed reading, watching westerns, crocheting and taking vacations with her husband. She worked at G.C. Murphy, Howard Johnsons, and Lutheran Social Services. She also worked as a teacher’s aid at the Colerain School, and a nurses aid at Carrol’s Rest Home. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be private. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorial contributions in Marcella’s name to: Love Inc., 80 State Street, Everett, PA 15537.
