Judith F. (Diehl) Stufft 74 of New Paris, died April 10, 2017 at her residence.  She was born on July 27, 1942, in Bedford a daughter of the late Austin S. Diehl, and Dolsie (Potts) Diehl, surviving of Friends Cove.  In addition to her mother she is survived by a sister, Kathryn Cady, and husband Mark, of Cosby, TN; and a niece Rhonda Osborne and husband Gary, of Attica, IN; two great-nephews: Daniel Osborne and wife Jenna, of Attica, IN, Caleb Osborne, and wife Hannah, of Attica, IN; a great-great-niece, Grace E. Osborne, and three cousins Brenda Dodson, Diane Smith, and Sheldon Price.  She was preceded in death by her former husband Robert Stufft.

Judy was a 1960 graduate of Bedford High School and then graduated from Hagerstown Business College in 1961.  She worked at Mercy and Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, and Altoona Hospital, before returning to Bedford and working at Snake Spring Elementary.  She enjoyed playing the organ on Sunday’s at Friends Cove UCC, and Trinity Reformed Church, in Osterburg.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. Paul Claycomb officiating.  Burial at Friends Cove UCC Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m., until the hour of the service at the funeral home.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com
