Jeanne (Craig) Gentilman

Jeanne C. Gentilman, 97, of Bedford, died on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. She was born on April 20, 1920, in Huntingdon, to the late Barnett H. and Minola (Beatty) Craig.  On February 2, 1943, she married Fred W. Gentilman who preceded her in death on April 14, 1987.  She is survived by her sons: Rev. Joseph S. Gentilman and his companion Shirley Watson of Enola, PA; Dr. Mark F. Gentilman and his wife Susie, of Burke, VA; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one aunt, Floryne Sinisi of Haddon Heights, NJ.  She was preceded in death by a son, Jon V. Gentilman on July 12, 1997.  She is also survived by her former daughter-in-law, Doris Gentilman of Meridian, ID, and many nieces and nephews and their families whose visits, cards, and cookies brought her great joy for many years.  Jeanne was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Bedford.  She was a 50-year member of Order of Eastern Star, Bedford American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the Juniata Valley Chapter of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of World War I, United States of America, and a former member of RSVP.  Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements will be made by the Timothy A.
