James A. Post Sr., 81 of Breezewood, died Sunday, August 28, 2016 at his residence. He was born on July 28, 1935, in Pottsville, a son of the late John and Grace (Robison) Post. On April 26, 1957, in Arlington, VA, he married Judy (Megee) Post who survives along with the following family: a daughter, Judy Huesser and husband Art of Stanley, VA; three sons, James Post Jr. and wife Jennifer of Yellow Springs, WV, Jerry Post of Yellow Springs, WV, John Post and wife Lauren of Toms Brook, VA; 33 grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Post of Jacksonville, FL, Joe Post of Elizabethton, TN; and best friend, Dan  Herr .  He was preceded in death by a sister, Joy Reef, and a brother, Russel Post.

James was an Army veteran, and retired as an auto body man.   During his career in Washington D.C., he was one of the top ten auto body technicians, and was contracted to fix the bullet holes in Ronald Reagan’s presidential limo after his attempted assassination.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, outdoors, and spending time with his kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. John Morningstar officiating.  Burial at Milligans Cove Christian Church Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 6 - 8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
