Gloria (Smith) Miller, 69, of Lehigh Acres, FL, formerly of Bedford and Mooresville, NC, died on Monday, November 14, 2016.  She was born on February 24, 1947, in Altoona, a daughter of the late Elmer R. and Bernadine (Yingling) Smith.  She is survived by the following family:  a son, Randy Miller and fiancé Judy Messersmith, of Everett, a son, Justin Miller and wife Christina, of New Paris, a daughter, Bethany Bratten and husband Bill, of Harrisburg, and the father of her children, Robert “Bob” Miller, of Manns Choice; four grandchildren: Michael Howsare, Olivia Miller, Natalie Miller, and Gavin Miller, all of New Paris; a brother, Colin Smith and wife Linda, of Norton, MA, a sister, Bonnie (Smith) Grace, and husband Lanny, of York; numerous nieces and nephews; and her six beloved cats. 

Gloria was a 1965 graduate of Bedford High School. She worked for many years as a Home Interiors Displayer before she started working for Kennametal, Inc.   Around 2000, she moved to Florida to enjoy the sunshine and warm temperatures and returned to sales before becoming a Transportation Security Administration Supervisor. She enjoyed playing Phase 10, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and cats.  Gloria was kind and generous and had many friends who live all over the country. She loved to send cards and small gifts to them when she saw something that made her think of them.  She will be greatly missed by so many people. She was a member of the Lehigh North Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and a faithful servant to Jehovah for over 40 years.    She looked forward to the day when the earth will be a paradise and there will be no more pain, suffering, or death.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at the Timothy A.
