Debra D. McGinnis, 60, of Bedford, died Friday, May 20, 2016 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, in Johnstown.   She was born on June 16, 1955, in Bainbridge, MD a daughter of the late Shelby and Blanche (Ritchey) Miller.  On December 28, 1987 in Bedford, she married Robert McGinnis who survives of Bedford, along with a daughter, Ryanna McGinnis, of Manns Choice; a step-daughter, Wendy Clements and husband Tom of Virginia; a grandson, Zeph Johnson; two step-grandaughters: Amber and Ashlee Clements; two sisters: Delayne Shoup and husband Scott of Manns Choice, Dawn Lawson, of Michigan; and a brother, Shelby Miller II and wife Janey of Everett.

Debra was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church, and retired as a secretary at the public assistance office.  She enjoyed reading, writing, and quilting. She was a great friend to those in need, a wonderful mother, wife, and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., at the St. Thomas Catholic Church, in Bedford with Father Donald Dusza Celebrant.  Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park with full military rites conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.  Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.  In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Debra’s name to Shirley’s Blue Blingers Relay for Life Team, P.O. 208, Manns Choice, PA 15550.
