Debra B. Knisely, 61, of Imler, died on December 10, 2017, at her residence. She was born on September 18, 1956, in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Atwood Berger and Joan (Bernhardt) Berger who survives, of Sterling, VA. She is survived by two sons, Zakary Knisely, of Osterburg, Jakob Knisely of Lawton, OK, and Fiancée Taylor Clingerman of Bedford; a sister, Donna Griffith and husband Chris, of Sterling, VA; a brother, Robert Berger and wife Lisa, of Manassas, VA; and many nieces and nephews.

Debra graduated from Broad Run High school in 1974. She was a member of the Crossroads Bible Church where she was involved with the Youth Group and the Crossroads Connection Table.  She worked various jobs that included the Defense Mapping Agency in Bethesda, MD, a non-profit organization for the Veterans Affairs, in Fairfax, VA, Roaring Spring Bottling Company and most recently a step on tour guide for Bollman Buses. She also managed and operated a local tour guide service that focused on the south central PA region. Some of her hobbies included camping, antiquing, sewing, painting, bread making, and was very fluent with our local history. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and dog Lucy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at the Crossroads Bible Church, in Bedford, with Pastor Mark Dillow officiating. Friends will be received on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.  Arrangements by the Timothy A.
