Audrey E. Kimmins, 88, of Bedford, died Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. She was born on July 12, 1927, in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of the late Walter and Bessie (Miller) Ickes. On March 1, 1965, in Maryland, she married Joseph Kimmins and he preceded her in death on January 28, 1979.  She is survived by a sister, Shirley Conner, and the following nieces and nephews: H. Alan "Bud" Fetter, and wife Donna of Fishertown, Cheryl Duffy and husband John, of Bedford, Brian Fetter, and wife Cinda of Osterburg, Terry Douglas, and husband Walter of Fishertown, Cathy Evans, and husband Richard of Schellsburg, and Wendy Rodriguez, and husband Eulalio of MO; and numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews.   She was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Ickes, and a sister, Doris Fetter widower Ira, who survives of Fishertown.

Audrey was a member of the Fishertown Community Bible Church. She worked as a bookkeeper for Pittsburgh National Bank in Pittsburgh and then for a bus company in Little Washington. Her entire like she enjoyed knitting and in her younger days roller skating. 

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Fishertown Cemetery, with Pastor Jeremy Highlander officiating.  Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.   Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
